From the following information, show the expenses of games material with adjustment in Income & Expenditure Account for the year ending 31st March 2017:

On 1st April 2016 their capital is respectively ₹6,00,000 and ₹4,00,000. The partnership deed provided interest on capital @ 5% p.a. and salary to Mahesh as ₹3,750 per quarter. The net profit before providing interest on capital and salary amounts to ₹30,000 for the year ended 31st March 2017. Prepare Profit & Loss Appropriation A/c and show the distribution of profit for the year. Solution: Profit & Loss Appropriation Account for the year ended 31st March 2017
Working Note: Interest on capital (₹30,000 + ₹20,000 = ₹50,000) + Salary (₹15,000) = ₹65,000. Since net profit is only ₹30,000, there is a loss of ₹35,000 which is shared in profit-sharing ratio 2:1. 7. P, Q and R are partners in a firm. State with reason. Impact: The current ratio will remain unchanged (still 2:1). Reason: When goods are sold on credit, current assets (stock) decrease by the cost of goods sold, but current assets (debtors) increase by the same amount (selling price). Since both are current assets, the total current assets remain the same. Current liabilities are unaffected. Therefore, the current ratio (Current Assets / Current Liabilities) does not change.
